I is going to be a sore creature tomorrow.
Though we were worried that the rain would make our horse trip be canceled but it didn’t. We were all very excited to go and when we got the call yesterday saying that there was a possibility that it would be canceled, we were all very bummed. But the rain was nice and didn’t really pour. It sprinkled a little when we got there and right as we were getting back to the stable.
I was extremely nervous about riding but once I was on and we got going, I got much more relaxed. My horse, Poi-Boy was awesome though he was stubborn at some points. In the beginning he didn’t want to listen and not too far along, we saw some other horses in a different area. He was fascinated in what they were doing (moving cattle) and would NOT go. I tried and tried and our guide even came up and had to help to get him moving again. We rode a little over an hour to the top of this mountain, i guess. We got off the horses, hiked down to these beautiful waterfalls.
Because it has been raining so much recently, the waterfall was really powerful. On a normal basis we would have been able to swim in the falls but our guide decided that it was to strong a current to do it today. Which is fine, otherwise we probably would have froze on the way back. I was already cold on the way there though once we got going, i didn’t really notice.
After a small lunch we hiked back out to the horses. I was so happy to see Poi-Boy XD I was very out of breath from the hike so it was nice to be able to get a ride back. I was much more relaxed that part of the trip and Poi-Boy and I had everything figured out. He decided that he was willing to listen which was nice. It was cool because on the ride back, we got to got though a different pasture then the way out. The pasture we went through on the way back was full of cattle XD there was babies everywhere. They were so cute! Some didn’t care that we were there and just kept on sleeping while these two came over and was staring at us like ‘those are some odd lookin’ cows o.o’ <3
Just as we were getting back the the stable, it started to sprinkle. Poi-Boy was starting to get a little restless because he loves to eat and we weren’t allowed to let them eat on the ride. Mikey, Mom’s horse was very happy to get in. He seemed a little lazy xD he had a problem with not picking up his feet so he stumbled quite a bit. He was a little stubborn like the human Mikey as well. He had a bit of an issue stopping. Mom would tell him to and he often would just keep tracking on. He also didn’t like the mud so would just make his own path off to the side. Poor mom was dragged through bushes because he just didn’t want to be like the others and walk on the path.
Parker, Brandi’s horse, was a jerk. He wanted to be up in everyone’s business. He would walk right behind all the other horses and he really wanted to be up front. When we got to the top and we were going to start heading down to the falls, he decided he didn’t want to stay and started taking Brandi back down the path again XD She didn’t let him get far but he was a pain at points.
Needless to say we had tons of fun. I won’t be so nervous the next time I get on a horse.
Also needless to say; i be soore. My butt is killing me. That plane ride is not going to be comfortable. and to make the lower half of my body feel even better, I’ll have a tattoo. (which bara, you don’t get to know what it is xD Tov doesn’t know what it is either but I think i bugs him a little less then it does you)
Sad to be leaving tomorrow but its time. Everyone is a little on edge with each other. I really really miss you guys (talking to you guys being its going to be a while before I see you again Bara)
Niight!!
