Hawaii Dia 2

My skin is soo soft *.* Amazing that the ocean does that.

Today has been pretty good. We didn’t have anything planned today activity wise. We all woke up when we wanted… well, kind of. I got up because I could hear that everyone was up so I rolled myself out of bed (at 8. Woke up at 7:30 but laid there for a while. Oh, and I didn’t really sleep well because I don’t have Cheshire. Bara, didn’t realize how badly I need something to cuddle with to sleep well XD)

I’m kind of glad that I did roll out of bed when I did. I stepped out the room and saw that Mom and Jessi were on the balcony covered in birds. As soon as i saw that, I started getting my camera ready. Problem was, I was like the walking dead XD. So I shuffled around the house to get the batteries, the camera, and the memory while looking like a disaster. My hair was a mess, my shirt was hanging off one shoulder and one pant leg rolled up to my knee (great image isn’t it Bara XD)

DSCN0624I did get some awesome pictures once I did get the camera put together… for example…

That be Jessi’s hand XD

Then, we headed off to breakfast, where we will be eating our breakfast almost everyday, Eggbert’s. I must say, I thought that mom’s version of coconut French toast was good… She just can’t seem to get it like the original *.* It is sooo good! Especially if you are into really sweet stuffs. OH! The birds! They are everywhere! Being the DSCN0675restuarant doesn’t have any doors or real walls, the birds just walk around and wait for people to either drop foods or to feed them. They don’t care how close they are to you if they get something to eat out of it.

Afterwards, we traveled the North Shore. We ended up going to the tree that Mom and Mike wrote our names on in the leaves… It has been cut back so that none of the original leaves are there. There were leaves there with writing from 10 or more years ago. So that made mom really sad to see it pretty much gone. But she didn’t have time to remain depressed long because just around the corner was a lighthouse and amazing view of the ocean. The color of the water there was somehow even more amazing! I didn’t think that possible but it managed. There were also these birds that were up to six feet across. I wasn’t able to get a good picture of any of them like I wanted.

Weird that the order of the day already seems to be blending together. Then I think we traveled further along the road to this DSCN0808huge cave. It was so cool. And the ground was really soft like sand. The smell was really nice, really earthy (imagine that, a big hole in the ground smelling like dirt…Yes, I am criticizing myself.) A little further up the road, there was a second cave but it was fullDSCN0809 of water. the pictures are really interesting because the first picture it doesn’t look that large but then you put people in it for comparison and you realize just how large it really is. (these two pictures are the same cave. Sorry they aren’t my best pictures…)

On the way back to town, we stopped at one of the most popular beaches of Kauai, we had it to ourselves for the most part. It wasn’t sunny and the waves were epic XD most people want to be able to swim but I thought the large waves were so amazing. I got tons of video of it because I just didn’t feel like I could capture the epic-ness of them via pictures. o.o

It was cloudy almost all day save when we did finally got back to the condo. We got back and the sun finally peaked through so we all threw on our swimsuits and played around in the ocean and pool. I have come to… 3 conclusions. The only way to make playing around in the ocean better is for it to be raining while playing in the ocean. The only way to make swimming in a pool better is to be swimming in the pool listening to the ocean feet away. The only way to make that better… is if it is raining too. All three of those situations happened today. XD

Mom said that she lost like 10 pounds the last time she was here. Yesterday I didn’t understand how that would work with all the amazing foods. Today I understand. Just walking from one end of the beach to the other in wet sand is killer –.0 Then swimming in the ocean with the huge waves is soo fun but my legs feel like jelly now. Then, after washing off, we swam around the pool which we some how got to ourselves. Right! The ocean has made my skin soo soft! I keep rubbing my foot because it is amazing how smooth it is (especially now that I have finally gotten rid of all the sand. funny how sand seems to get EVERYWHERE o.0)

The Fam is off eating Sushi while Jessi and I stayed behind. Don’t mind cause I has Panda Express XD

You better know that I love you guys –.- I am standing, half dressed in PJs, outside the office of the condos with my laptop balanced on a post so that I have internet access to post this.

Hope you are well!

Niight!
