I have lost my (tattoo) virginity…
So today was a day of both happiness and sadness. We were sad to be leaving Kauai Hawaii but we were excited that I was getting my tattoo (though this did make mom a little sad. “can’t believe my daughter is old enough to get a tattoo blablabla” )
We got up, packed until we needed to go get breakfast. Then after foods, we stopped at the house for a while and then we, Mike, Ryan, Mom and I left. Jessi and Brandi stayed behind to finish packing. Mom and I were dropped off at the tattoo shop, the Little Tsunami, and Mike and Ryan went to Walmart.
It HUUURT. I knew it would but no matter how much you prepare yourself for it, you just can’t prepare for something that you don’t really know. My tat artist, Chanel, said that it should start hurting less after 10-15 minutes… it was muuch longer than that. After probably 30-45 minutes it did start not hurting as much. Then it would be good until she would pause for a little because then when she would get back to work, it would be killer again. Thankfully she was light handed. The person that did mom’s tattoo the first time apparently had a very heavy hand. Mom said it was almost like she could feel the skin ripping as that artist worked.
Mom got her old tattoo from Hawaii touched up for free. She really didn’t like it and kind of understandable. It looks much better now. We think that she didn’t do well because she was leaving Hawaii in about a week and was probably a little distracted. The people at the shop said that they have actually had a couple people come in
recently to get their tats touched up that were done by the same artist. That made mom feel better about asking to get hers fixed up.
When I was almost finished with my tattoo when the fam arrived at the shop. They had finished packing and had been officially kicked out of the condo. After getting it all wrapped up we were standing in the front of the shop and Chanel said, “So glad that I could give you your first tattoo” and Mikey said in a big dramatic voice, “You took my daughter’s virginity!” XD we all laughed and Chanel gave me a hug. (This is the picture of my finished tattoo buhaha!)
Then we had a lot of time to waste before we had to return the car and get to the airport. We had lunch/dinner, wandered around, went to the falls again and then dropped off the the van. We were dropped off at the airport at… 5:30-6ish. We went through security which was a little difficult. They pulled me to the side and did a pat down because the buttons on my stupid skirt set the alarms off –.- (did freak me out a little when they told me I needed to go to the side that they needed to do a full body search o.0) Ryan got in trouble because they thought that he was hiding something when in reality he was holding up his pants being he had to send his belt through the x-ray. XD
Then when we finally got through that fun stuffs, we went to our gate (which was freaking FREEZING!) where we stayed for 2 hours. Then our flight got delayed for what ever reason. This woman then called for anyone who had a connecting flight in Honolulu to come to a different gate. We got there and she was sending us on a different flight but she was very impatient. We were in such a rush, we were afraid the entire flight that we had forgotten something. Well, as soon as I sat down (in 1st class!! They didn’t have any other room on the plane so we got to sit 1st class for the grand total of 45 minutes) I know I had forgotten my phone. It had fallen out of my pocket and no matter how much everyone was telling me that it might be in my bag, I just knew it was still in Kauai. When we got into Honolulu, with all our stuff save my phone *twitch* mom kept calling the cell. Finally, someone with the airline called her back on my phone saying something along the lines of “You keep calling this number…” Yeah, cause we knew we were missing it. –.- Mom came over and she said “I found your phone. Its in Kauai.” All I could say is “uh, yeah, I did know that” I feel bad about it now but I wasn’t too pleased that I didn’t have my phone and I was so tired.
Mom has to do a couple of things and we are going to be able to get the phone sent to the house. I feel a little lost without it. I can’t check the time, I don’t know anyone’s numbers to tell them that my phone is still in Kauai *spaz* *sigh*
So after a 2 hour wait in Honolulu, We got on our plane. Off all the words I could use to describe that flight, restfully, comfy and pleasant wouldn’t be used. I could NOT sleep. So tired but I couldn’t get comfortable. And to make it all that much better, the guy behind me kept poking, pushing and kicking the back of my chair. And at one point, when I was starting to actually get some sleep, I out of habit, brought my leg up and tucked it under me… my right leg ;_; ouch. I finally gave up trying about 6am. I just listened to my iPod and played a couple games on it. Didn’t realize how much I missed my iPod… Jessi can stop stealing it.
The sunrise on the plane was really pretty. Wish I had had a window seat.
Hawaii was pretty but I’m looking around as we are driving home and I do love the hills here. It feels so much like home to me now. I’m definitely ready to be home. First think I’m probably going to do is take a shower being I feel disgusting. Then I’m going to lay on my bed and give Cheshire a big hug. xD Maybe that will come first…
I’ll call or text once I get home and find your numbers. Grrrrr.
…It would feel odd not saying night. Tis how I have concluded every entry.
-Niight! XD
I is going to be a sore creature tomorrow.
Though we were worried that the rain would make our horse trip be canceled but it didn’t. We were all very excited to go and when we got the call yesterday saying that there was a possibility that it would be canceled, we were all very bummed. But the rain was nice and didn’t really pour. It sprinkled a little when we got there and right as we were getting back to the stable.
I was extremely nervous about riding but once I was on and we got going, I got much more relaxed. My horse, Poi-Boy was awesome though he was stubborn at some points. In the beginning he didn’t want to listen and not too far along, we saw some other horses in a different area. He was fascinated in what they were doing (moving cattle) and would NOT go. I tried and tried and our guide even came up and had to help to get him moving again. We rode a little over an hour to the top of this mountain, i guess. We got off the horses, hiked down to these beautiful waterfalls.
Because it has been raining so much recently, the waterfall was really powerful. On a normal basis we would have been able to swim in the falls but our guide decided that it was to strong a current to do it today. Which is fine, otherwise we probably would have froze on the way back. I was already cold on the way there though once we got going, i didn’t really notice.
After a small lunch we hiked back out to the horses. I was so happy to see Poi-Boy XD I was very out of breath from the hike so it was nice to be able to get a ride back. I was much more relaxed that part of the trip and Poi-Boy and I had everything figured out. He decided that he was willing to listen which was nice. It was cool because on the ride back, we got to got though a different pasture then the way out. The pasture we went through on the way back was full of cattle XD there was babies everywhere. They were so cute! Some didn’t care that we were there and just kept on sleeping while these two came over and was staring at us like ‘those are some odd lookin’ cows o.o’ <3
Just as we were getting back the the stable, it started to sprinkle. Poi-Boy was starting to get a little restless because he loves to eat and we weren’t allowed to let them eat on the ride. Mikey, Mom’s horse was very happy to get in. He seemed a little lazy xD he had a problem with not picking up his feet so he stumbled quite a bit. He was a little stubborn like the human Mikey as well. He had a bit of an issue stopping. Mom would tell him to and he often would just keep tracking on. He also didn’t like the mud so would just make his own path off to the side. Poor mom was dragged through bushes because he just didn’t want to be like the others and walk on the path.
Parker, Brandi’s horse, was a jerk. He wanted to be up in everyone’s business. He would walk right behind all the other horses and he really wanted to be up front. When we got to the top and we were going to start heading down to the falls, he decided he didn’t want to stay and started taking Brandi back down the path again XD She didn’t let him get far but he was a pain at points.
Needless to say we had tons of fun. I won’t be so nervous the next time I get on a horse.
Also needless to say; i be soore. My butt is killing me. That plane ride is not going to be comfortable. and to make the lower half of my body feel even better, I’ll have a tattoo. (which bara, you don’t get to know what it is xD Tov doesn’t know what it is either but I think i bugs him a little less then it does you)
Sad to be leaving tomorrow but its time. Everyone is a little on edge with each other. I really really miss you guys (talking to you guys being its going to be a while before I see you again Bara)
Niight!!
Deep conversations are amazing.
Finally had an almost decent sleep and i woke myself from it for no good reason. Brandi and I seem to have this thing going between us that as long as the other is still asleep, we are good to keep sleeping. Whenever I wake up and notice her out of bed, I get up (mostly because we are the last to sleeping and if we don’t get ourselves up soon after the other, mom will wake us up…) This morning, I rolled over to get a drink of water and realized Brandi was up. Once I got out of bed and went into the living room, she told me that I didn’t need to get up, she had been up vomiting since 3. Minor side effect from a very fun night XD
Before we had breakfast, we got the call from the tat shop and we went in. I chose the one I liked the best and then we went off to eat. (nope, not saying what it looks like XD You has to wait to see it :P)
After good foods at the usual location, we went to Snorkel Bob’s and got enough supplies for us all to snorkel. We went to a special beach were they had made a rock wall which made the water really calm. Waters outside the wall was very choppy and much cooler. When we first arrived there were quite a few people swimming in the area. Then it started to rain and most people left. apparently when you swim you can’t be rained on? *shrugs* We didn’t care and got to some AMAZING fish. It was so cool because they didn’t seem bothered by my presence at all. They didn’t like Jessi much but at one point I was completely surrounded but tons of fish. And a lot of them seemed the same color of the water so I was surrounded by these black dots (their eyes). They were so close to me that they were actually in my way. I went to swim forward and smacked a fish in the face. XD Then at one point, I stopped to look out of the water to find mom and when I put my head back under, I nearly ran into these HUGE fish. One was like the length of my arm and it wasn’t long and skinny. It was long and fat. From the top fin to its belly was probably from my wrist to elbow. It was like I had ended up in the middle of a fish highway. I just tucked in my legs and floated there for a little bit because i didn’t want to run into any more fish. Some of them even slowed down and looked at me like I was looking at them. lol, wouldn’t it be great if fish went people watching like we do to them…
We didn’t do much after snorkeling. We did got to a market thing and the ABC store…again. I got myself a shirt there. Then we came back and kind of just hung out. We had food from the Coconut Mall and used the Chat Box questions while we ate. Can’t wait to use those at fam night dinner! Will be lots of fun.
Then because Our activities are early tomorrow, everyone headed their own ways. Jessi quickly went to bed, after a smoke, mom and mike retired to their room and Brandi, Ryan and I went to our room. The plan was to sleep… Ryan does have to be up before 5… but we ended up talking for two hours. It was wonderful getting to have deep conversation with them. We just curled up on our beds and talked about all kinds of stuff. Psychology to good relationships to politics to dreams…
Now Ryan be asleep with a pillow over his face, Brandi is reading her book and I am curled up at my laptop waiting for a replying text. This are comfortably normal XD This has been then end of the night for me almost every night we have been here.
Well, i should probably stop driving R & B nuts with my tapping on the keys. Hopefully I’ll get good sleep, get to go to some waterfalls on horseback. Should be fun but i be scared. XD I haven’t been on a horse… as long as I can remember.
Alright, doesn’t seem I’m going to get my reply text. Ah well.
Niight!! Really was wishing you guys were here when I was snorkeling. It was so beautiful. Miss you!!!
So nice to get out of a dress into comfy pjs XD
Today was a rather relaxed day. It started out with us rolling out of bed and going to Eggberts. This is the first day out of the vacation that we all just went how we were when we got up. No one showered or put on fake-up. (yush, I meant to say fake-up not make-up XD)
Then we went to Snorkel Bob’s, rented some gear and played around in the ocean. I gots to see some cool fishes! It is surprising that the fish are just feet away from people swimming and walking around. Jessi almost stepped on one that is how close they are to shore. There was big bright yellow ones and a grey and blue one. The one fish that I remember the most was soo colorful it was amazing. The main body was dark and then had really bright orange and yellow and blue stripes *.* i followed it around as long as the waves allowed me to.
Then I started having some kind of reaction to something. my face and neck started itching and turned red. mom said it was starting to swell though i don’t really think so >.< she seems a bit dramatic sometimes… anyway, I left everyone at the beach and came back to the condo. I enjoyed the condo to myself for a little while (after washing off my face) and then showered. Everyone came back up right as I was finishing.
Mom called in to make an appointment for the tat shop but they said that I had to come in. So she grabbed me as soon as I was ready and we went to the shop and looked at different tattoos and tell her what I wanted. She is going to sketch up a couple ideas for me and I have to go back in tomorrow to check them up.
wow my hair likes it here in Hawaii! o.0 Random I know, but i just put up my hair and realized its so soft! I think it might even be soft than yours Tov XD Mom’s hair does NOT like it here. She can’t get it to do anything…
So after the visit to the tat shop, we all got ready for the luau. Ryan and Mike were ready pretty quickly after showering and putting on their nice Hawaiian shirts, they were ready XD Us girls took a little longer. We all had to do our fake-up and do our hair and get into our dresses. I’m so glad it isn’t a normal routine for me. I don’t know how some girls do it every day o.0 Ryan was so happy to see us all in dresses. he wanted tons and tons of pictures. (hey, not that you can see but Jessi has her flower on the wrong side XD I have one in my hair as well but you can’t see it in this picture. Lol, Jessi is the only in this picture that needs to be wearing her flower on her right.)
Then off to the Luau we went. We were here for a couple of hours. the first was spent wandering around looking at shops they had set up around. the next couple was spent waiting for foods while watching peoples perform every once in a while. Finally, we got our foods (none of which I was a huge fan of but foods is foods. Everyone else enjoyed it so it was just me being a dork.) And once we had finished, there was the main performance. It was epic XD I couldn’t get too many good pictures but I did manage a couple.
Afterwards people got the opportunity to get pictures taken with some members of the cast. Mom got to talk to a guy that she got to know last time she was here. Phil. He is pretty awesome xD I can see why she remembers him so well and wanted so badly to find him again.
Once we got home, I quickly changed into comfy cloths and took my hair down. Drunk Brandi went around loud and happy. She doesn’t get drunk or ‘a bit buzzed’ as she likes to call it in the said state often, but when she does, she has a good time…
I ish tired. I be off.
It was wonderful getting to talk to you two even it was for what seemed like a few short minutes…
Niight!!
Family trip to the hospital anyone?
Yet another day that didn’t have anything planned. We had a couple different plans but because Mikey was too sick to go out, we ended up just going to see a couple of waterfalls and “Spouting Horn.” We also did a lot of shopping. I got a keychain for Katie, a necklace for Danika, something for Rooosie and something small for Tov. Still need to find something really good for you >.< I need to find something for Bailee and I thought about trying to find something for Xavi but I really don’t know what to get him. I did see some coconut bras and thought of him though XD
I actually remembered to buy myself something! Yays! I got a pretty blue necklace. Though, I’ll have to find a different cord for it because it is almost exactly the same length as my silver one which I won’t take off. I also got myself a set of bracelets (though I got those mostly for mom. She needed to get a certain amount spent to get a free item so I grabbed those. Still likes them) One store that we visited we got a shell Lei as soon as we walked in. That is also the sarong I got myself the other day.
So the first waterfall we went to, I just started taking pictures when it started to POUR. Mom and Brandi went straight to the van when it started while Ryan, Jessi and I decided to continue on for a little thinking that like every other time its rained, it would let off in a few seconds. It didn’t. It just got worse. So we, once we had come to the conclusion it was just too wet, ran back to the van. We were dripping wet. Soaked. And guess what we had forgotten to grab. Oh yeah, the towels. So, we got 10 miles from the hotel and had to return home.
We got home and threw all our cloths in the dryer and made sure that we packed the towels and change of cloths in the car. It was a few minutes before we got to the house and I got that same pain in my stomach as the other day XP Tis a very sucky pain. But it kind of went away by the time the cloths had dried. So off we went to the next waterfall.
When we got there, I was opening the back of the van and Jessi walked right into the corner. 1/2 over and it would have hit her eye ;_; As soon as she had hit it, she started to cry. Then this guy came over and gave her this basket he had wove by hand from leaves. He keep telling her to stop crying and that he hoped his basket would make her happy again. He just didn’t seem able to deal with a cute girl crying… Then we told him what had happened and he felt even worse for her. Then he went off and another guy (a friend of his i think) came over and put a little bird made from the same kind of leaf to make her smile on the basket.
Mom went over to thank them for the gift because it was so sweet of them. They were obviously very very poor and it was so nice of them to give Jessi those things that they could have sold. As mom was talking to them, she found out that the guy had this puppy that has some skin disease and he couldn’t afford the meds and that was why he was trying to sell these baskets that he made. He had the puppy there. The poor thing looked so sick and it had no fur… it was depressing. Ryan ended up buy a couple of baskets from them to help out.
After that, we went to the Spouting horn and looked around the shops there. Wasn’t too awesome. Sounded cool though. On the way home, we went into this amazing Orchid shop *.* So many beautiful flowers! They were growing everywhere. She even had some growing without any dirt, just hanging there. And there was such a variety of colors and sizes! I also managed to finish filling a memory card today ^.^;
Hopefully tomorrow less people are in pain and no one injures themselves XD I’m kind of excited because tomorrow we are going to the luau which is supposed to be really intense. I should get some cool pictures I hope. That or video. Oh yeah, tomorrow is the luau, that means I has to wear a dress o.0 Should be interesting.
Alrighty, tis getting late here.
Niiight! Miss you.
Me thinks I’m in love.
It is odd to realize that over the course of a day, you can forget details. Like on the day that we went up to the lighthouse I wore a very flowy skirt… No one mentioned that we were going to heading up there so I ended up wearing my new, very flowy skirt. It was very windy up there…. So everyone who looked at the right time, would have seem my skirt flip up –.-; It didn’t take me long to start walking with one hand holding the camera and the other holding my skirt to my legs. >.<
Oh! Right! And I’m not sure which day it was, but we went down to a beach and we were playing around in it and Brandi ended up getting her jeans soaked. So she decided to just get in the van and take them off. Despite Ryan saying that he she should have to put her jeans back on (he didn’t want no one else seeing her that way XD) She ran to the room without her pants on. The only thing that made this image better then her running up to our room (up three flights of stairs… outside) is the fact that she tried to cover her butt with a bottle of alcohol XD
There was something else that I had realized I had forgotten to mention but, I seem to have forgots again ^.^;… Look how big this flower is!! Isn’t that amazing. (yes, easily distracted by my pictures, shut up. Don’t judge me XP) Got this shot in the parking lot of the condos. Tomorrow I’m going down to get more pictures because there are still some down there I haven’t gotten a picture of.
Today was another one of those day that we didn’t have anything planned. So after a lazy slow start to the day, we went to have our normal breakfast, Eggberts. I can’t wait for tomorrow because I decided what I’m going to be having; pancakes… lolol yeah, when Ryan and Jessi ordered them, we all kind of snickered. It got worse when Ryan said something along the lines of “I’m going to be having myself some pancakes right here.” And as you can imagine, it went downhill faast.
After delicious foods, we went around the Coconut Mall and wandered around (Ha! I is proud, I typed the right word Bara!!). The entire time I was thinking of what to gets everyone. I know what I’m gonna get you Bara besides the sand. I know what I am going to get Katie, it was rather easy. Tov… You are going to be the death of me. I can’t find ANYTHING for you. *sighs* And i need to find more than just a souvenir because your birthday is coming up.
After we had finished going around the Coconut Mall, we went to this market thing. It was all kinds of the stuff we had seem at the Mall but for much cheaper. It wasn’t until the end of the day that i realized I should get myself something. Still haven’t… wait… I did get myself a pretty black and white sarong for $4. Ryan was sweet and got all us girls a really cool hair clip that changes color in the sun. It starts out white and when it is hit but UVs it changes color. Mine is blue, thanks to Brandi who was willing to take the other one instead.
After shopping, the rain chilled and we went on this boat up a river to the Fern Grotto. It was a nice trip up the river and the Fern Grotto was really good. I got a couple nice pictures but not as many as I would have liked. I did get a really awesome shot of a lizard… AND I got to see real Bamboo which was awesome. Very pretty. I know it is a silly thing to be excited about but, i ish a freak so its all good. Anyway, the greens here are so vivid! There was a path up to the Grotto and everything along the path was so green it was amazing.
I has three bites on my leg. They itch soo badly. *twitch* i’m trying my best to not itch them but its hard! I haven’t seen a mosquito but if there is even 1 on the entire island, it would be my luck that it would find me. –.- I wish they weren’t so out for me.
Now we are sitting around playing this game that Ryan got. It is called the Chat Pack which is random questions that start interesting conversations. This last one was if you had a number instead of name, what would it be? “What is your dream house? Be descriptive” “If you could have 50 pounds of anything except money or something to sell, what would it be?” “If snow could fall in any flavor, what would you choose?” “Which month of the year do you think describes your personality?” “Everyone has a moment in which they wish that they had had a camera. Which moment do you wish above the others that you had captured?” “What is your best quality?” And others like that.
lol, mom is buzzed. I have only seen her buzzed like two other times XD She is so giggly and playful. Ryan is buzzed too. Also very giggly. They along with Brandi have gone down to see if they can find anything in the dark ocean.
Oh! I’ve updated the post below to contain a few photos (mostly para tu Bara because well, Tov gets to see lots of them on deviant.)
So, I think I’m in love. It takes away all my pain, which is very difficult… its name: Aloe. Aloe Vera. XD Its my new best friend. It makes my burns not hurt any more… They need to make an Aloe Vera for memories o.0!
Miss you!
Niight! Sleep sweet and Dream well! (though one of you is probably reading this in the middle of the day and the other is just starting out the night XD)
P.S. As Rose was so kind to point out, there will be some interesting spelling/word mistakes as I type these up and post them. I don’t really reread them xD Don’t have the time…
